The Truly Important Gifts
December 2, 2007 on 1:37 pm | In life |With all my thinking about holiday gift giving, one thing that stands out is that the more important gifts are the ones you give just because it’s important. Donations to charities, and other organazations that help others, people you may never see, but who need your help, are the most important gifts of all.
There are many types of donations that do not even immediately pop into your head, but keeping them in mind all year round helps in case you are in a position to give at any time of the year. Things like car donations. Many organazations accept used cars as donations to either auction off for money donations, or give to needed individuals who need transportation but can’t afford it. With Car Angel the gift is used to help make videos for kids and teens that are given to them. It’s an amazing organazation.
Perhaps you do not have a used car you would be interested in donating at this time, although judging from all the commercials many folks receive new cars for Christmas. If you are one of those lucky folks, why not spread the joy even further by donating your old car? If you don’t happen to find a new car under the tree this year, keep this great idea in mind all year round when you might have the opprotunity to give in a truly important way.

Humph. Someone has to force me to read this post. It’s too big and boring. Brevity is the sister of talent, remember that.
